I recently had some good news, my image 'Reeds in the Mist' was awarded runner up in the landscape category of Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year and will be in the exhibition that tours Scotland for 2018. I also had an image commended in the Your Vision category as well, 'Blackwood of Rannoch'. Both images are a short distance from where I live, about a ten mile radius. Having spent many years driving to Scotland which meant a minimum 8hr journey its all the more satisfying to be within a stones throw of being able to take award winning images from my back door now.
