I have recently had 2 images commended in this years Scottish Landscape Photographer of the Year and 1 commended in the UK Landscape Photographer of the Year. That is 4 years in a row in the Scottish comp with 2 years in a row as runner up in the landscape section and a year either side of that with commended images, it's my first time in the UK comp to get anything accepted so all in all a pretty good run. I have also entered the International Landscape Photographer of the Year and awaiting results at the moment. It is a subjective thing judging and there have been some amazing images throughout the competitions and I always can't help thinking there are far stronger images from other entries that would get my vote as the winner. In my humble opinion of course.
